Central to Dalradian’s Northern Ireland Properties is the Curraghinalt gold deposit (“Curraghinalt”). The deposit is a lode gold system consisting of a series of structurally controlled, high-grade gold bearing quartz-carbonate veins.
Work to date has focused in and around Curraghinalt, including more than 170,000 metres of drilling, underground channel sampling, interpretation of soil geochemistry grids, sampling of historic core, metallurgical testing, underground development and exploration and permitting. The Company released a Feasibility Study on Curraghinalt in 2017 that including engineering and mine planning studies, which has been superseded by an updated mineral resource. In 2018, focus at the project is on mine planning and engineering work to support and updated Feasibility Study.
Mineral Resource Update
Curraghinalt hosts a NI 43-101 compliant resource consisting of:
- Measured: 33,000 ounces of contained gold (0.04 million tonnes at 26.04 g/t gold)
- Indicated: 3.03 million ounces of contained gold (6.31 million tonnes at 14.95 g/t gold)
- Inferred: 3.04 million ounces of contained gold (7.72 million tonnes at 12.24 g/t gold)
Note: mineral resources which are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.
